But I went to uninstall one that said "Advance Adblock", and accidentally clicked on it, which took me to a bogus page. Also, there was a bogus application in my Chrome apps menu (which I have never, ever used so I don't know what's supposed to be there). (this has stopped since closing the keychain lock). Just a blue link and text on a blank page. And on Chrome, I get this annoying link when trying to load Twitter that says to click on it to continue. These things happen with all of the add-ons disabled, but are clear when the same site is opened in a private window - it loads right away. (Actually off the top of my head I am not sure whether these sites were in Chrome or FF - in Chrome it also often says "waiting on adblock," which is probably just an adblock thing). After being in it for awhile, sometimes it will take forever to load (or not load at all) and there will be info on the bottom left over and over like, "waiting for -whatever site-." The sites it lists are things like. They are disabled by firefox, but stuck.Ĭhrome runs fine sometimes, but is often stuck on what looks like might be some sort of adware on sites like CNN. There are some plugins I cannot remove, also. I don't remember all that was happening since it's been a little while and I just started running it in safe mode. Firefox was opening up a window automatically that would show up in history as a long list of numbers. There's definitely malware in both Firefox and Chrome.
